Collection of Beaver Valley Labor History Society, 1909-1981.

This collection primarily covers the history of the 1930s Steel Workers Organizing Committee campaign at Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, through original and photocopied materials. It also includes material on local and national issues related to the United Steelworkers Union from 1943-1981. Additionally, twenty-five oral history interviews, most of which are transcribed, with steelworkers and their family members who were involved in the 1930s Aliquippa organizing campaign provide additional insights.
